Butterfly Blessings is a village minded charity we helped Co-found in 2024 at the tragic loss of my dear friend. A beautiful woman who believed that charity begins in you own back yard, and took the directive of Jesus to heart when He said to help the lost, broken, homeless, hungry, incarcerated, widowed and orphaned. A simple phone call would be all it would take for her to hurry out the door and fill the need, no questions asked. Upon her death, I realized she had already started collecting school supplies for the Back pack bash event that she had started the year before. 2024 we held the largest event in Sharpsbug and we handed out over 300 backpacks and supplies as well as had supplies left over to donate to the Family resource centers at the local schools. In 2025 we expanded to help 4 local counties, all of which have high poverty levels with little resources and handed out over 400 backpacks but had over 30 vendors attend, a cruise in, silent auction and 50/50 raffle.

We are hoping that this program will find its way all over Kentucky eventually.
